To apply for new gas service, simply call our toll-free number at (800) 834-2070.

Be prepared to answer the following questions:

• Physical address location for service or Meter number
• Previous location/account number where you had service with Mountaineer Gas
• Business name on the account
• Contact names
• Contact telephone numbers
• Business Mailing address
• Date of Birth of contacts
• Social security number of contacts
• Employer Identification Number (EIN)
• Future date someone can be available to allow access if gas service is off
• Driving directions to location if new construction
• If new construction your nearest neighbor
• Plumbing/Heating contractor and phone number if applicable
